The distinct advantage of multitracking a performance instead of just recording of the soundboard main outputs is that you can greatly enhance the sound and balance during postproduction.

You can clean up noise, enhance, EQ, and compress to make up for conditions that were less than optimal during the gig or concert.

Another advantage is that you can capture the acoustics of a special remote locations - like large concert halls or subterranean caves.

Remote recording is useful for recording:

performances, concerts, gigs
in concert halls
in unique places (caves, castles, etc)
sound in the field for film or other multimedia productions

For all remote recording jobs we provide clients with multi-channel data DVDs (in wave or AIFF format) or stereo mixdowns on audio CD.

Using a laptop computer, external high speed hard disks, firewire audio interfaces, and some front end preamps we can record anywhere there is a source of electricity.
