Mixdown, Mastering

Renovate, Enhance

CD/ radio finalizing

Mixing is the art of combining many tracks into a single stereo track. Getting the levels just right for every track within a song is vital for good sounding production masters.

Bring in your original multitrack recordings and we can make remixes for you that take your music in different directions according to your request.

Dance versions with added beats, vocal radio versions, etc.

If you don't have the original multitrack recordings we can use the stereo master.

To avoid confusion, a few terms are defined here:

Mixing: after recording, mixing is setting all the volume levels and effects processing of all the recorded tracks to create a single stereo track, the mixdown. The mixdown can be further processed during the mastering stage.

Mastering: the final creative stage, using a single stereo track, finalization processing is used to enhance the music and create the production master which will be used for mass duplication.

Remixing: after a song has been released or finished the band or producer decides to make another version of the song, for example with heavier beats for a "dance version", etc. Remixes are made using the original source multitrack recordings to allow maximum flexibility. Often new material is added. Remixing is completed when the new mixdown is made.

Remastering: a remaster is made when a single stereo track which has already been mastered is processed further to fix certain problems that went undetected or just to bring out other nuances of a song.

We can make new mixdowns, remasters, and remixes of your music.
