The live room is a spacious 60m2 chamber with a 3m high cieling and can be used to record anything from a miked guitar cab to a medium sized chamber orchestra.
Organic materials and diffusive designs provide a creative and warm acoustic enviroment. Our stone wall gives a bright diffusive character - perfect for drums, percussion, and other acoustic instruments.
The cieling is treated with curved panel diffusors that also behave as bass traps and give the room a unique character.

Curved panel diffusors
These wood composite panels diffusive mid to high frequencies with a smooth response curve while low frequencies are absorbed.
QRD
Quadratic residue diffusors use prime number series calculations to arrive at designs for smooth diffusion across a range of frequencies. They are also good for enhanced stereo imaging.
Gobos and modularity
Using gobos and other sound partitions, panels, and modular diffusors a variety of acoustic environments can be set up to match the needs of each project individually.
Multimedia
The live room is also available for use with multimedia projects requiring a staging area. For example recording and rehearsing dance and theater performances, or use as a film set.
